We are proud to support the Cornish Seal Santuary. The Cornish Seal Sanctuary in Gweek, Cornwall was established in 1975 by it's founder, Ken Jones to rescue and rehabilitate young seal pups who had washed up on the Cornish coast.
The sanctuary now rescues over 50 sick, injured or distressed seal pups a year providing them with expert veterinary care and nursing them back to full health before releasing them back into the wild.
Each pup costs around £2000 to rehabilitate, not including special cases.
The sanctuary also provides permanent homes to a number of resident seals who are unable to released back into the wild. They also work tirelessly to educate the public about marine litter and how to help injured seals.
