Manta rays have the largest brains of all fish and their intelligence & curiosity make any encounter with these creatures truly magical. They are popular with divers and snorkelers, but they still hold much mystery to us. There are many aspects of their lives that we don’t know about or understand.
Populations of manta rays are affected by both targeted & bycatch fishing, sadly making these majestic animals some of the most endangered in our oceans.
